Pet owners are becoming more aware of the need to take care of their pet when it is raining outside or snowing. Years ago, it was common to see a pet owner walking their dog with an umbrella and the pet having no say so over the matter. The dog would often get wet and shiver. When Paris Hilton first put her dog into her purse, it made a huge media sensation. Young teen girls were buying purses big enough to put their dogs in their as well. I used to walk through New York City seeing these pups tucked away in their owners bags. It kept them dry. I think that these raincoats came from celebrities as well. The good news here is that anyone can afford one of these jackets. They usually cost around $19.99 in the store and its usually of a good quality.

When it comes to owning a pet, it is usually a good idea to think ahead. The more that you plan for your pet, the better than he or she will feel in the long run. Consider your pet as a child.
