Why is Miley Cyrus famous? She is one of the most popular young celebrities lately. How did that happen? Do you ever wonder where teen idols like her, Paris Hilton, Hilary Duff and others come from? Why do they suddenly pop onto the scene and are a huge sensation?

Well, a lot of what makes these teen girls so popular is who they know. For example, Miley Cyrus is legendary country singer Billy Rae Cyrus's daughter. They are even on a television playing father and daughter (kind of similar to how Ozzie and Harriet, the real life parents of Ricky Nelson, played his television parents on The Ozzie and Harriet Show back in the 60's).

Miley Cyrus plays Hanna Montana on a hit TV show, a character that is a blonde teen singer. This accounts largely for her success in the public eye. However, she also is a very talented singer in real life, and has made a name for herself since becoming famous through the TV show. She is a very nice looking young lady with a beautiful singing voice in real life, and the Miley Cyrus brand is now just as big a household name as Hanna Montana was a year or two ago, if not bigger.

While hype and who you know do play a large role in how a teen celebrity achieves fame, keep in mind there is more to it. There has to be a look and a talent involved as well. People can't be famous just because. Even Paris Hilton, who seemed to inherit her fame, is a very attractive young lady with a magical persona. She is not famous for no reason, as many might claim. And she, too, like Miley Cyrus, has a beautiful singing voice and deserves attention for her multifaceted career paths.
