Why You Have To Want It

Although I'm pretty satisfied with my body-shape, if I pay a little attention to it whilst standing in front of the bathroom mirror, I wish I would have the six-pack and the biceps of 50 Cent. You surly understand what I mean if you stood in front of the mirror this morning yourself.

What separates you and me from this body proportions and a role as a sexy dead body on CSI Miami is the fact that we are not willing to do anything to get this shape. Pity us, we wish it so badly and don't get it.

Here is some more bad news:

No matter how often you watch the movie The Secret or read a book on the subject, you will not get something by sitting on your sofa handling your remote control and thinking great thoughts. It never has and never will be, just like Dr. Fred Alan Wolf (who is by the way in the movie mentioned) said in an interview.

Thus, wishing is not enough. Even feeling the vibes (still sitting on the sofa) of having a body like that isn't enough. You have to want it. At the moment you want something you take the action necessary to get the desired result. This action part is neglected by many because it means you have to leave your comfort zone.

The good news is:

Action takes wishing to the level of wanting. At the moment you want something badly rather than wishing, you'll take even more action. It gives you momentum.
The front door is closed? You'll take the delivery entry on the backside of the building. This door is locked as well? You blow up a wall to come in.
Don't think about becoming violent at this point, this was just a metaphor to make clear that your creativity and inventive thoughts will increase the more you want something. You'll get more of what you focus on, indeed.

Once you reached the level of wanting it doesn't really matter how you label it. You don't necessarily need to give it the name of an universal law. Of course you can if you feel comfortable with it. Personally I like to see it as your own achievement and something you can be proud of.

Maybe you are the next person who's six-pack I envy. Who knows?
