The DS Lite is then reassembled and boxed up with the same instruction manuals and charging equipment that were sold with it originally. Why would someone want a refurbished DS Lite rather than an absolutely brand new one? Well the most obvious benefit is price. The products are often sold well under the original selling price, which opens up the market to a wider demographic. By making them affordable to more people, more games are consequently sold, so there are benefits to all involved. Because the quality standards are strictly adhered to, there is little risk of receiving a below par product. Most of the time, the same wide range of colours are also available. It also makes it more sensible and affordable to upgrade or change colour in the future.
