Buying stocks in the morning is much better than riding through whatever turmoil they go through overnight, this is just another safety measure to make sure you don’t lose your money.

Buy quality – The next thing is to always buy quality penny stocks. Just because a stock is trading under $5 doesn’t mean it is bad, it just means it is still growing and there is plenty of growth left in it. Never buy something that is speculative and is always in the media, these are most likely duds or they may just take too long to grow.

Always diversify – Another important thing is to always diversify your portfolio. If you are only buying into one company they the chances of you losing all your money are much greater than if you buy into many different ones. A rule many investors go by is if they have more than 10% of their money in one company then they are not well diversified. This is how you should think as well.
