Wii Fit, Console, A Machine Barely Released. Better Than Before, Better, Stronger, Faster.

I've written articles before about the nintendo wii Fit and what it does, how it works, and how it's being used by various groups, but I've never written about how I myself actually use it and what, if any success I'm getting. Ok, well here goes.

I am 43 years of age and just a tad overweight, actually by about 20 pounds, but I never used to be. It seems that the older you get the harder it is to keep that weight off and just do a little excercise.


Well, for me using the Wii Fit has not only helped me to lose weight but it has actually helped in changing my mind set if you see what I mean. For example, excercise didn't used to bother me if I did it or not, but nowadays because of my use of the Wii Fit I feel a healthy guilt trip if I don't do any excercise on a given day. And I don't mind saying it myself but I'm getting better at it as well.

You see, with the Wii Fit it actually tells you how you are doing so you can see your own progress, if any. Now this is what is helping me push on with my excercises - I can see how I'm doing and I want to do better next time. I used to be able to do just 10 push ups of the push up game, now just 6 weeks on I can do 30 no problem and this is due to the fact that the Wii Fit is constantly telling me how I'm doing which encourages me to do better.

The Bionic Man yet? Not quite there, but I'm certainly better than before, better, stronger, faster.
