Winner In Your Career , So Why Are You Pulling Your Hair Out - Stress

Have you ever noticed that the more triumphant you are in your career, the further stressed out about the job you become? Does this seem like anyone you are acquainted with? You may be saying right now, "That's me." Well, the solution to this dilemma is to abandon that job, use the leadership skills you've developed over the years to get going on your own business.

Could this actually be the answer to a career related stress?

Rationally, you may possibly say enough is enough and do some work that is less stressful and more rewarding. But we also appreciate that working online is not for every person.

Some people rather stay in the corporate environment because it's all they understand. That's fine too. Today, we need to talk to those individuals. We are going to let you in on some ideas that could help you take the edge off some of the work associated stress you might be experiencing.

Now, stress can be caused at work by many different reasons. "Office politics, performance issues, administrative issues, deadline related issues, high pressure ecosystem brought on by upper management, company budget cuts." Is that most of them? If you find yourself stressed out all the time, losing sleep, taking out your frustrations on your family, co-workers, employees that you supervise, you ought to take a step back.

The initial step is to take on full responsibility for everything you're going through. There are no issues in the office that can't be resolved by enrolling the efforts of others. What do we mean by this? It's about caring enough about the people you spend the most time with during the week, making sure that you are contributing to their personal successes. TEAM WORK!

If you are constantly doing this, you'll get the same efforts in return from others. I'm not saying work with that lazy guy or girl that's always asking you to do this or that because they preferably surf the net or look at pictures on Facebook all day. Don't waste your time because they won't be around for too long. I'm talking about people who have work ethic, but someplace along the way got complacent. Those folks can easily be converted back to go getter if you had the skill set to inspire them to do better.

A further predicament in today's work place is this issue of leadership by intimidation. Individuals are so fearful of upper management now a days that they go as far as taking the next hall if the CEO of that company is walking in their direction. The years of leadership based of fear are over; it's just not affective anymore. If you are in some sort of leadership role at work, I encourage you to read the "One minute manager" by Ken Blanchard. You should find some helpful tips on how to turn into a more effective person in charge to produce result within your company without having to use the old boys' club corporate techniques. These techniques are the foundation of the stress you're experiencing right now.
