Egg donation is restricted to women between the ages of eighteen to twenty nine. There are strict rules and regulations behind donations. The price can be as high as 10,000. The donor receives the payment after the retrieval of the egg. The donation is not based on a pregnancy instead; it is based on retrieval of the egg. Egg donations have risen 25 to 100 percent since the economic crisis and recession in the US and abroad.
