So you would like to work for yourself. What a wonderful idea. Millions of people just like you have done so. Many have gone on to earn incomes in the six figure bracket. For you to be considering doing so is a brilliant move as the timing could not be better. Affiliate marketing reviews are full of wonderful business affiliate programs whereby you send your visitors to their online websites. When a purchase is made the company pays you a commission. How simple is that!

Before you begin you should know these 4 facts:

It takes a lot of work. Setting up a website and getting it up and running online is quite simple, however, not one soul on earth will ever find you unless you write many pages of excellent relevant content. As your pages add up the search engines will rate your site, people will begin to find it and check it out.
It takes a lot of time. What will you write about? Your hobby, sport, health, likes or dislikes? You may think you have a varied knowledge of your chosen concept but once you have written 40 or 50 pages you will need fresh data. Researching your concept takes time. Plenty of time. The days will come when your mind goes blank. You must be prepared to move on and spend the time to get the results.
You must learn to type. Picking away at the keyboard with one or two fingers will allow you to send e-mails to your friends but an average page will require about 500 words. A successful website with good content may have 200 pages. There are plenty of online learn to type tutorials. Take the time to learn.
You must have great patience. If you need to set up a website, there are sites that use a simple block builder technique. You need to learn very little HTML for that system. If you need to upload your own HTML to the new website you must be prepared to suffer through hours of frustration with writing codes and making them work for you.

Understand and practice these 4 tenets, put them to use and you will have fun building your site. The rewards are terrific. You will have a lot of satisfaction in seeing your own website, your thoughts and ideas up live.

Probably you will want to make some money with your site. Work from home opportunities are everywhere. Personally I love affiliate marketing as there are thousands of affiliate marketing companies and their millions of products. The good news is that if you find that a company is not doing business through your website you may drop it and add another.
