Work Out Motivation – How To Get The Motivation To Move

Work out motivation comes from within your mind. It's comes from the thoughts in your head. To put it simply, how you think about exercise has a major effect on whether or not you work out.

If you think exercise is all right, working out won't be a chore and you will find the time to work out. If you think exercise is evil, then working out will be something that you really don't want to do and you will avoid it.

It's fair to say that getting motivated to work out can be hard for many of us. You might often think that you should be doing some sort of exercise, yet just can't seem to make the time and effort to work out. Then you start feeling bad about yourself for not working out.

First things first, if you have these bad feelings about yourself for not having work out motivation, it's all right. It's common. However, the best advice any one can give is to stop being so hard on yourself for feeling this way. It is these harsh thoughts that may be keeping you from working out in the first place.

Instead, congratulate yourself when you take the stairs instead of the elevator, or when you get off the bus a few stops early and walk home. Notice all of the small, yet active things you do. Don't ignore them. Focus on them and keep focusing on them. Feel good about yourself for doing them.

When you start thinking good about yourself for any little bit of exercise that you do, you start to want to exercise more. You start to get work out motivation. You start to change the way you think about working out. You start to think that working out may not be that bad after all.
