World Of Warcraft Leveling - A Quick Talent Point Guide
When you hit level 10 in World of Warcraft, you get the option to spend a talent point. Each level you go up, you will receive one additional talent point. At first it's a bit confusing but this should help simplify the process. If you are going to spend your points, regardless what role you want to play in a group, spend the points in the talent tree that will maximize your personal damage. Much of your playing time will be done solo so you will be getting more experience point per hour that you play if you have higher damage? What about tanking or healing instances while leveling up? To be honest, you don't need the tanking or healing talents to heal well. Most instances won't be hard enough to actually need the special talent points for that role. What you do instead is keep a set of armor that focuses on healing or tanking. Put this on while you do that role, otherwise maximize your damage for solo play. When you are 5 to 10 levels from the cap, if you have a group you play with regularly, you can change your talent points and focus more on the role that you want to specialize in for the maximum level.
