Writing Articles Can Get You Paid!

Have you ever thought about writing articles online? You can get paid for it and have your articles appear on some of the top websites around! What you write the articles on is totally up to you, but I suggest you write articles on the widest range possible so you get as many clients as possible. Remember you should only take on the work you can handle, there is no point in taking on so much work you cannot do it all in the time you said you would.

You’ll want to register on Digital Point as I believe it’s the best place to find people willing to pay you to write content/articles for their website, I’d suggest you look around for some clients, you should set your price at $0.05-0.001/per word - This is around the average price for articles on the internet, for example 100 word article could earn you $0.50 to $1.00 and only would take a few minutes for you to write.

You should always find out what website you are writing content for, just because it’s nice to know what website you are writing for and it’s a great feeling after you complete a job, check back a few weeks later to the website and see your own content placed on the website, just the feeling that you wrote all of it for the website is pretty good.

I always suggest you write to topics which you are personally interested in, but you shouldn’t turn down work unless you really have to, if you enjoy writing on a topic, you should ask your client if they have any more work for you, or if they are looking for a long-term article writer.

You’ll find with working long-term, you will be paid less, but you will have a constant flow of work coming in, so you’ve never got to wait around to find another client, you can work all the time if you really wanted to. You’ll probably earn more per month long term, then with multiple clients. Another pro of working long term, you can work out a payment plan, for example you get paid at the end of each month, maybe at the end of each week, or even after you finish the job, just discuss it with the client.

One of the things you need to watch out for is accepting jobs from people with low post-counts and low-rep/iTrader on Digital Point, there are a slight few number of the members there will won’t pay up and just steal your content, so always check out their profile first to see if they can be trusted or not, if you don’t trust them, ask for payment before you give the articles, or 50% of the money before and 50% after.

When working with a new client, I always prefer to get paid after I complete each article, so I can build up trust and then go into weekly/monthly payments, it’s a much larger sum of money you could loose.
