In today's biking world there are many different bike models and disciplines that come with the new types of bikes. The question you should ask yourself, how do I find out about the biking industry?

Reviews are written in almost every bike magazine, describing the latest technologies; from design, types and styles and even the latest in bicycling gear and accessories. Researching information in written reviews is one of the best ways to understand the latest bicycling technology and industry changes.

How much will your bike cost?

Bikes range in price from hundreds to thousands of dollars, not counting gear and accessories. You need to ask yourself; do I know what type of bike I want or need, is the bike idea designed for the places I want to ride them, do I need to learn any special skills to ride a bike, and am I going to be as enthusiastic in a year from now as I am today?

Bicycling is no different than any other club, with membership health clubs people join and never go, the same applies to expensive bikes. You what you should bike once twice maybe several times and then never use it again. For newcomers to the biking world, you want to get your bike to fit you in every possible condition. From the seat to the pedals to the handlebars to the height of bike, if it doesn't fit most likely you will not use it.

The solution is simple; read your views, visit your bike shops and try to test drive as many bikes as possible. Prepare yourself with the correct information before making the decision to buy your bike. And most of all don't be afraid to ask the professionals at a bike shop or friends or people you know who own bikes, they all have information and experiences to pass along.
