This is such a fun movie. If you like X-men then it goes without saying that you will love this. The best part of this edition of the X-men story is that you get the history behind a lot of things. If you like the whole comic turned movie idea then this is one for the collection. Hugh Jackman doesn't hurt the movie's attractiveness either.
The title says a lot about the movie. X-Men Origins Wolverine DVD, tells us about so much that was unexplained before. There is action galore. It is mutant freaks after all that can do things that no human has ever dreamed. It looks so real I wonder how many stunt people were injured in this movie. This movie has an ending that will leave your jaw hanging open. I loved watching it. And, it wasn't only to see those Wolverine muscles.
When you pick up the DVD which will be released mid-September, be sure to watch carefully through the ending credits because there are some additional scenes that are included at the end, including one of the two possible endings; which I wont give away here, but trust me you will want to see them both.
The history aspect of the movie was very interesting. This one does go back pretty far. All the later issues start to make sense when you see it all in this light. You get up close and personal with Sabretooth and Wolverine too. They have a violent and complicated history that gets fully fleshed out here. You can definitely understand why Wolverine is so grumpy to put it lightly.
Filled with action, violence and some nudity, this DVD has received a PG-13 rating creating a movie that is more geared toward older teens and adults that to a comic book age crowd. Believe me when I tell you that this is a must have movie for all action fans. With incredible stunt work, special effects and action from beginning to end, this movie is well worth the purchase.
