"ya Gotta Be Whacko To Pass This Government Freebie"
Ready to trade that old clunker for a new car, huh?...but hey, times are tough…Not gonna happen now, right? Big deal…most everybody is cutting down on expenses. You’re by no means in any exclusive class there! The economy sucks. If you buy a new car, you either drain all your cash or take on debt you may regret later. Do you really want to do that? There is a great compromise for those of you who are smart enough to figure it out. Save huge bucks and buy your next car at one of the free government auctions you will find throughout the country. These auctions are held regularly around the country, allowing you the opportunity to buy you next “new” car a huge discount. Quite often, you could end up with a late model car for much less than dealers are currently paying for the same model. You find what you want, check it out and determine what you want to bid. Bid on those you like…Pass on the rest…It really is easy! This is a great opportunity to find that special car at a special price! Don’t get hell bent on making sure you buy a car at the first auction you attend. If you’re not lucky enough to make the winning bid on the car you want the first time around, no big deal. After thirty five years in this business, I can tell you that “the right car” will present itself at the next auction and again at the next one if you still have not made a winning bid. Stay patient and you will get the car you want, eventually. Don’t compromise and end up buying just to buy. That is the quickest way to get a big, beautiful…LEMON! When you determine which free government auctions you are going to attend, contact them and get a listing of the vehicles schedules so that you can see if they even have any that interest you. There is no sense in attending if they don’t even have a unit you would be interested in, unless you just want to attend to get comfortable with the process…Which is actually a pretty good idea. After you get your list, the more units you are interested in, the better possibility there will be that you may be successful in your bidding. If possible, take a mechanic along or at least someone who is more familiar with cars than you. Check out the cars you are interested in, BEFORE they come onto the block. When you have all your questions answered before the car hits the block, you will be able to be much more objective in your bidding. It is all about knowledge. If you are well armed by the time you start bidding, you will more than likely have a successful end to your journey. If you will take the time to attend an auction before you attend with the objective of making a purchase, you will later be well rewarded due to the comfort level you will attain with the knowledge that you will gain by your “dry run”. You will also want to familiarize yourself with the different titles that are offered to the vehicles on sale. The car may be “tattooed” with different problems, such as mileage unknown, mileage not actual, rebuilt, salvage, etc. Know what you are buying BEFORE you commit your money. Learn about the auction rules at the sale you are attending. These vary from auction to auction. You will want to know about fees, your responsibilities at time of purchase, the auctions responsibilities, what you can and cannot do to check a unit out ahead of time, etc. All of these details are important so that you can make a successful purchase at the free government auctions. If you want to save money on your next purchase…seriously consider making that purchase at one of the many free government auctions available. Take your time…do your homework…check out your potential purchases as thoroughly as possible and you should have a successful foray into the world of Free government auctions!
