Yeast Intolerance - Are You At Risk

So what exactly is yeast intolerance? Well, people intolerant to yeast suffer from an overgrowth of candida yeast. Normally a person's amount of yeast is kept in check through other beneficial bacteria in the body. Unfortunately for some people this is not the case and can lead to a number of health issues if not treated.

So what can cause someone to be yeast intolerant? There are a number of things that can trigger an overgrowth of candida. One of these things includes taking multiple antibiotic medicines which can kill off the bacteria that controls our production of yeast. Another culprit is having bad digestion due to some other type of intolerance (wheat or gluten). Also don't discount diet as poor nutrition can weaken ones immune system making handling the toxins that an overgrowth of yeast produces extremely difficult.

If you start to exhibit a number of the following symptoms you may want to get yourself checked out. A few of the things to be on the lookout for include:

• Fatigue after eating

• Bloating or Gas

• Furry Tongue

• Constantly craving sugary foods

• Stuffiness and Congestion

• Mouth Ulcers

• Heartburn and Acid Reflux

• Dizziness or Feeling Lightheaded

• Skin abnormalities or rashes

One of the best ways to easily cure the symptoms brought on by intolerance to yeast is through sticking to a yeast free diet. Usually after a few weeks your symptoms will begin to disappear and as long as you stay on the diet you'll be able to lead a happy and proactive life.
