Tips On Sweet Sixteen Parties

Remember that your daughter's sweet sixteen party is a commemoration of her adolescent life. You should effectively capture some of her interests and focus on her sweet spots if you want to make the sweet sixteen party memorable. The party does not really have to be grand, unless your daughter requests for it. You can always get a little creative and whip up a great party without spending too much cash.

First, you should think of a theme for the party. Themes make a party more enjoyable and memorable. Think of a good theme that is centered on your daughter's set of interests. If she likes a certain movie, you can turn the venue of the event into a makeshift version of that movie. If she loves rock music, you can set-up a stage and hire a real rock band to play during your daughter's party. Ask your daughter and her guests to dress-up in accordance to the given theme to make the event more special.

To make the party even more special, create a program for the enjoyment of your daughter and her guests. You can prepare games and ask your daughter's friends to prepare special messages for your daughter. After dinner, you can play some trance or hip-hop music and ready the dance floor for an all-night party.

Finally, hire a DJ and install a good sound system for a night of dancing and partying. Once the clock hits ten, clear the dance floor and ask the DJ to pump up the tempo. You can serve your daughter and her guests "mocktails" to create a teenybopper version of an actual bar.

One more thing, your daughter is still far from the legal age. You can serve "mocktails" instead of real alcohol beverages to still give off a slightly mature feel to the event.

When the party ends, your daughter will add her sweet sixteen party to the list of most treasured events in her life.
