Anyone with a computer and the time and patience can write an article and submit it to the article submission directories that are out there - ezine articles and article dashboard to name a few. Using article submissions as a marketing tool is effective as it gives your "advertising" the chance to go viral - that is to say if other website owners like your article and post it in their site your link gets carried with it as well.
