Your Golf Swing How To Improve It … Quickly!

Here are a couple of rules to follow in order to learn how to do your golf swing. You need to feel the club as an extension of your arm and you need to perfect your rhythm and balance.

The first step in your golf swing will start with the correct set-up and stance. This is followed by the rhythm and balance of your body; the rotation of your upper body in relation to the stance of your lower body; your body alignment, and then you need to find your proper swing plane keep control of your swing speed. You balance will be created by standing with your weight evenly distributed between both feet. Be careful not to over swing as this will ruin your balance and ultimately you will overcompensate and the shot will not be as effective.

There are some who feel that one can learn how to do the golf swing by moving more slowly and in a more controlled manner (the rhythm), whilst still ensuring there is enough power in the swing to ensure that the ball travels along the fairway at a good speed. Not as easy as it sounds! This is when physical training will come to the fore – hand-in-hand with the mental visualization, of course! Your physical training could involve specific exercises in the gym such as those for core stability or the lunge and twist. Apparently over-gripping can affect your perfect swing, as well as starting your downswing from your shoulders and working your way down, rather than starting from your feet and working upwards. Your shoulders should be the last to move in the downswing.
