Starting with this type of business model certainly provides some advantages in that you don't need to provide customer support and you don't have the outlay of costs associated with developing your own product. With regards to the product vendor, all they want you to do is direct traffic to their site. There are people who do send traffic to the vendors site and lose it for good, but does this make sense when you have had to work so hard to get that traffic in the first place. For long-term benefits you want to keep that traffic for yourself and decide if and when you will direct it at the vendors sales page. List building is vital for any online business model and its the one thing that links the models mentioned previously together. Any marketer worth their salt appreciates the value and significance of having their own list.
