Zumba fitness originated from the combination of mixing Latin moves of dance with an international dance style. After combining the two, you get a lift from the energy that you experience as well as being able to participate in a new and exciting fitness regiment. By combining intermittent breathing exercises through the use of oxygen and the fast pace of music with the slow pace of music, you will allow your body to in the end, get in shape. The training that is intermittent while resistant allows the Zumba fitness routine to be effective while still being effective. The theory of Zumba is that with the combination of the training and resistance offered, your body will start to burn more calories and fat to help balance the body back out to where it should be.

The rhythm of the music and the period of time that the exercise routine will start with is simple and easy at first which will then work your way upwards by using the whole body. At first, small steps are taken with the lower body and then begin by working the middle area of your body. When the whole workout is finished, you will have used all areas of the body and have worked a large number of muscles in your body as well. The lower portion of the body combined with the middle portion and at last, the top portion of your body will have been worked out with Zumba fitness which helps to make this an effective way of getting in shape and staying in shape. Many individuals who have used Zumba have seen a big change in the way they feel everyday from using the muscles that do not get used with other forms of exercise.

Participating in Zumba fitness classes, you will begin to see a change in the over all core muscles of your body and will start to see that you have a higher control of these muscles than what you are used to. You will be able to tighten your abdominal muscles with the use of Zumba and combine this with the shape of the torso; you will experience results that would otherwise take hours of your time on a number of different exercise machines. With the workout of Zumba, you participate in one class and will work out all muscles as compared to other methods of fitness.
