With digital music becoming increasingly popular in household it is no surprise that manufacturers are jumping on the bandwagon and including digital music players into their products. One of the most recent products doing this is the iPod Fridge.

The designers at Gorenje have teamed up with the people at Apple to bring you a fridge than can combine with your iPod to play your favourite songs and tunes while you are in the kitchen. The designers at Gorenje said that the reasoning behind the strange combination comes from the fact that most parties take place in the kitchen, and so there would be no better place to have all of your favourite songs. Having this combination will also allow people to listen to music while cooking or cleaning.

As well as having the docking station for the iPod, the new fridge has built in speakers and a wireless LAN connection so that you can check out recipes, music and TV shows online all from the convenience of your own kitchen. A test version of the iGorenje with wi-fi built-in is also in production which will allow the fridge to communicate and operate with other household appliances such as laptops, washing machines and ovens.

Not forgetting its original purpose, the Gorenje fridge still does everything that a fridge should do. It is built to a spectacularly high standard and in a stunning sleek design. The fridge comes in a glossy black finish and has a very modern feel to it.
