VoIP Technology - On the Cutting Edge of Telecommunications

VoIP is a recent development in the telecommunications industry that offers a convenient and affordable way to communicate with others around the world.

VoIPIp stands for Voice over Internet Protocol, and it's a category of hardware and software that gives people the ability to make phone calls right over their Internet connection. Voice signals are converted into packets of data, which are then transmitted over public lines.

VoIP applications can generally be used with just a simple microphone and standard computer speakers, but some use IP telephones or VoIP boxes which make the VoIP experience more similar to a traditional phone.

As far as quality and reliability of VoIP technology goes, it has improved greatly over the last year or so.
