Move Yahoo Address and You May Lose Your Rankings in a Pages Search

When you are strategically placed in a top ranking within a search engine such as Yahoo, if you decide to move your contents to different URL addresses, you may lose your rankings in a pages search.  The same will hold true if you begin your website using software from Yahoo's website design, outgrow the website and are forced to move the site to a different server.  This will cause you a problem, in that, you can move your content, but Yahoo will still own your site design because it is copyrighted.

Of course, there are ways to plan from the beginning for growth and content changes within your system, but methods should be employed, such as when moving content from one URL to another; you should link from one URL to the next to keep your original place in the search engine rankings, gradually redirecting traffic to the new URLs.  Many people do not think of this when they move contents from one site to another URL address and find out shortly thereafter that their page rankings have fallen off.

To find out ways to plan ahead of the game when expanding your business online with your Yahoo website design changing up your URL addresses, use the article written in the online site Mac the Web entitled "Search Engines list pages by address - Keep yours."  These tips come in handy for people who want to keep their ideal position in a search engine ranking.

Just remember that if you move your Yahoo address, you may lose your rankings.
