College Grants in Ohio

If you are an Ohio resident and wanting to attend college in Ohio, you may be able to find college grants in Ohio with which to finance a large portion of your education.  While looking around the Internet, I decided to locate the Ohio Department of Education online to see what kind of scholarship and grant programs that the state education agency offered for its high school graduates, and I came up with approximately five scholarships offered at the Ohio Department of Education's website.  The official website address is located at ode.state.oh.us, where you can also obtain information on grants that are offered through the Ohio Department of Education for continuing education, adult education, and college grants in Ohio.

Another good resource for finding college grants in Ohio is located online at Education Planner, educationplanner.com, as well as at the official site for Ohio University, located at ohiou.edu.  Both of these online resources provide good information on financial planning and college grants in Ohio that can be obtained for the purpose of attending a junior college or four-year university.  Of course, if you want to get federal college grants in Ohio for attending school, then you will need to locate a school that you intend to attend and go through the FAFSA form process and register with the U.S. Department of Education so that your financial aid officers at your prospective school can determine your eligibility for college grants in Ohio, as well as federally-backed student loans, if needed.
