How to Help a Pet Deal With the Loss of a Pet

If you own pets and have ever lost one, you've probably wondered the same thing that most other pet owners in your shoes are curious about. How to help a pet deal with the loss of a pet…

There are a few ways to help your other pets deal with the loss of their sidekick. The first is spend extra time with them. Go out of your way to play with your grieving pet more, take them on walks more frequently, etc. This will help fill the void that they're experiencing.

A second way to help your pet cope is by getting another pet. Replacing your previous pet with another will help take their attention off of the loss of a friend and do some needed cheering up. If you're going to replace a pet, please don't go to a pet store or answer a newspaper ad. Consider pet adoption from a local shelter!
