How to Write Written References: Some Quick Tips

If you are wanting to know how to write written references, there are some great quick tips on just how to write those references professionally.  The tips I'm speaking of are within an instruction page that includes the Harvard Referencing System, and the online instructional page is a handy guide to use for practically any written reference that you need to write when doing your paper.

Below are some of the many writings that have specific rules attached to them on how to reference them in a professional way:

  1. Books and reports, including electronic books.
  2. Conferences and symposia.
  3. Official publications, including statutory instruments, command papers, and green and white papers.
  4. Journal articles.
  5. Unpublished material.
  6. Electronic material.
