Family Portraits Fundraiser in NY Provides Homes For Those Who Deserve Them
Using family portraits as a promotional way to fund non-profit organizations that help people in need to own their own homes in Rochester, New York, is a thumbnail sketch of what Flower City Habitat for Humanity has been doing for the past 13 years. This nonprofit organization has been responsible for putting families into homes who would otherwise never be able to manage their personal finances and resources well enough to buy a home at the current price in the homebuying marketplace. Along with helping these families obtain an affordably-priced home in which to live and work, Humanity for Habitat, in 1994, showcased seven families in their media releases who had worked and contributed to their own success in breaking into the homebuyers market by taking family protraits of these hardworking families that had gone the extra mile by putting sweat equity into their very own home projects and then reaped the rewards of their hard work.
