Astrology for the Fractal Minded Posted By : popculturefan

The immediate universe we live in, the Milky Way Galaxy, is essentially a group of billions of stars spiraling inward toward a black hole. In geometry, a spiral can be considered one of the most important patterns ever to emerge on planet Earth as it is, essentially, a scaled down representation of the Milky Way. This is because spirals are very simple fractals. Fractals are any system of patterns and chaos that work together to form a unified spectrum.

Mark twain The Great American philosopher Posted By : Dennis Yew

Mark was not only a great artist; he was pre-eminently a great American artist. No other writer that was born has ever been more extravagantly national. Whitman dreamed of an America that never was and never will be. Poe was a foreigner in every line he wrote. Even Emerson was no more than an American spigot for European. His humor was American. His incurable Philistinism was American....

Everyone is different. Each person has different opinions, tastes, and motivations. As a result, not everyone learns in the same style.
Techniques for studying that work wonders for one student, may be completely ineffective with another student. That is why it is so important for parents, tutors, and the students themselves to know the learning style of their children so they can help the student achieve academic success.
There are four distinct learning styles.

Following new president, Jacob Zuma’s triumph last week, many in the broader Jewish community are trying to decipher their place in this ever-changing land. More than 30 years ago, the Lubavitcher Rebbe encouraged the community to stay put, stating that, “South Africa will be good for the Jews until Moshiach comes.” Today, despite widespread concern, his 40 Chabad representatives stationed throughout the country are ensuring that his pledge remain true.

According to a report in the New York Times dated April 8,1897, a local police officer became alarmed by a crowd of “Hebrews”that had converged on Tompkins Square at 8 a.m. without a permit. Therabbis, transplants from Europe, were unsuccessful in their attempts toexplain this obscure tradition in broken English to an Irish policeofficer, leaving him more suspicious than curious.
