First Class KLM Royal Dutch Airline Tickets? Settle for Business Class or Economy

If you're wanting a first class KLM Royal Dutch Airline Ticket for your next flight out of Amsterdam or from any other city that KLM Royal Dutch Airlines services, then you'll have to settle for the next best thing, the economy class, or be pampered like royalty in KLM's business class.

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is the oldest airline in the world that still flies under its original name, and the airlines has discontinued, on its long flights, the first class passenger ticket.  However, under today's present first class standards for airlines in the United States, the KLM Royal Dutch economy class offers many more perks than does the standard economy class airline ticket on most airlines that we Americans are familiar with.

Taken over by Air France, and formally known as Air France-KLM, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines formal status as the oldest independent airlines in the world came to an end in September, 2003.  Since that time, first class KLM Royal Dutch Airline tickets no longer exist, as frequent flyers once knew them to be.  KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, however, has held up to the image of a prestigious airline by offering a new travel class called World Business Class on long-haul flights.

KLM has beefed up its fleet of large airliners, including the airbus, and has installed super-comfortable seats for their business class customers, as well as made the economy-class seats more confortablel.  The long-haul flights by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines include a three-course meal, and World Business Class flyers enjoy personal TVs, videos, and entertainment, as well.  The economy-class passengers enjoy entertainment, but have to skip the personal TVs.

The services that KLM Royal Dutch Airlines offer their business-class passengers, who are eligible for their Flying Blue miles program, are truly superior to any first-class passengers' perks that United States airlines offer to their first-class passengers.  The newly-installed seats within the larger aircraft now used by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, in both business and economy classes, are adjustable to a comfort level of almost a reclining position.  On long-haul flights, all economy passengers enjoy mainscreen movies for entertainment.  No further mention needs to be had as to the difference between passenger treatment on KLM Royal Dutch Airlines versus passenger treatment on United States airlines, as it has been that way for many years.
