Can I Win Back My Lost Love

If you've recently broken up with someone, you are probably thinking how can you get over them, or how can I win back my lost love. Neither is easy to do, but most people will go one way or the other. Very few people coming from break-ups have the ability to move on quickly without constantly thinking about turning back time. You should think long and hard about the relationship and about your lost love before you do anything. Consider how things were and how they will be now. Try to be as fair as you possibly can. You may well decide the split was the best course of action anyway.

If you do decide to try to win back a lost love, the first thing to do is say sorry. You may think that you have done this already, probably more than once. But if your lost love thought the apologies were simply to stop the break up, they might think the apology wasn't sincere.

If it was you who were at fault then you need to say sorry again. It's important because nothing hinges on this apology so they will be more ready to accept it as sincere.

If your lost love was the one who did something wrong, rather than try to get a sincere apology from them you can turn it around and simply forgive them. You don't have to forget, but forgiving gives you the chance to move forward. A lot of us have trouble really forgiving others, yes we can say "I forgive you" all day long but deep down forgiveness is a struggle for a lot of us. You may want to read up on forgiveness and how to really mean it. If you intend to win back a lost love then this step will really help. It can also overcome potential future problems.

When you do succeed and win back your lost love, will old issues re-surface in six or nine months? If you haven't forgiven your lost love for whatever happened in the past, you may have a hard time getting past everything. Old hurts can re-surface and things can be said that you may regret.

If you truly can forgive your lost love then you won't need to revisit the past. While you are working through forgiving them for the specific reason you broke up, forgive them for the break up itself and you can save a lot of heartache in the future.

When you win back your lost love, show them the person they fell in love with at the very beginning. Don't show them the person that was dumped. They loved you because of your unique qualities, endearing qualities. Don't let the anger and the jealousy and the hurt surface. While you might not be able to fully hide the hurt, be the best person you can be and you will go a long way to reminding them every day just why they loved you in the first place.
