Kerem Bürsin is a famous Turkish Actor, Model, and Producer, He is one of the best-known actors who is popular for his role in the TV shows Güneşi Beklerken (2013−2014), Şeref Meselesi (2014−2015) and Sen Çal Kapimi (2020–2021). Kapımı is a multi-talented actor who appeared in several movies and tv shows. Kapımı Bursin is the winner of the Dilek Awards 2014 for Best Actor (Waiting for the Sun) and 14th Stars of the Year Awards 2014 for Best Actor in Cinema and many more.

Kerem Bursin was born on 4 June 1987 in Istanbul. He is the only son of his parents, His father’s name is Pamir Bürsin who is a known businessman and his mother CIgdem Bürsin is a housewife. Kerem sister name is Melis Bursin. Kapımı was born in Istanbul and raised in various countries like including Scotland, Indonesia, the UAE, Turkey, Malaysia, and the US.

In 1999, at the age of 12, he moved with his family to the United States where they settled in Sugar Land, Texas. Kerem attended Stephen f Austin HIgh school and later on graduated from Emerson College in Boston, where he majored in Marketing Communications with a focus on Public Relations. While he was in his college days, he constantly took roles acting in numerous student films and plays, he gained attention on campus as an actor. He began to focus his studies on acting and finished his last semester of College in Los Angeles, which led him to stay there. He was chosen as the best theater actor at a competition in high school in the US.

Kerem Bursin begin his career during his school days, Before he turned into an actor, he worked as a driver. Bursin’s first role on television, was Roger Corman’s Sharktopus (2010) then again in 2012 starred in another one of Corman’s pictures: Palace of the Damned (2013). After his first two successful debuts, he decided to move temporarily to his home town Istanbul, Turkey. Kerem Bursin is also known for his shirtless photos.

While he was in his hometown, Kerem landed the lead role in director Altan Dönmez and D-Production’s TV show Waiting for the Sun (2013) which would become a hit phenomenon in Turkey. After shooting 56 episodes and calling it a series finale for Waiting for the Sun (2013), Bürsin soon was approached by one of Turkey’s famous and important directors Cagan Irmak to be in his film Whisper If I Forget (2014) which Bürsin would accept the role, Erhan, a young bass player with a passion for music taking place in 70’s Istanbul. Bursin’s small but pivotal role in the film gained him more recognition and awards.

Bürsin is currently playing the lead role “Serkan Bolat” in Sen Çal Kapımı (You Knock on My Door) opposite Hande Erçel. It premiered on FOX on 6 July 2020 receiving positive reviews and high ratings. As of 2021, he is single and unmarried. Kerem was in a relationship with Hande Erçel.
