Concealment Holsters From Fist Leather

FIST Holsters is a custom leather outfit based in NY, NY. They produce holsters in a number of materials including leather, various types of kydex, leather/kydex hybrid material, and some limited exotic skins. FIST really puts an emphasis on concealed carry holsters as the owner is a big fan of CCW.

FIST is a custom gun holster shop where everything is made to order, and takes anywhere from 6-8 weeks. FIST is one of the few custom holster makers that will give the customer the opportunity to select a base holster model and then customize it with a number of unique options like:

*Tension screw
*Bodyshield
*Thumb break
*Handboned leather
*Closed bottom

Unlike some other holster makers, FIST uses a heavier grade of leather for all of their holsters. Leather is assigned a rating based on the weight of one square foot of the leather. Many holster makers use a 6-7 ounce grade leather for holsters, while FIST uses an 8-9 ounce grade. FIST also offers a full array of dye colors so the customer can choose from 8 different colors.

FIST also takes a different approach to their line of kydex holsters. Most kydex holster makers use a fairly heavy gauge of kydex that us usually around .70 of an inch. FIST holsters use much thinner kydex and it's available in two different grades: thin and ultra thin. The ultra thin has to be the thinnest kydex I've ever seen and is best suited for IWB applications. The thin is also very thin, and it better suited to outside the waistband holsters.
