For more than 70 years, soap operas have been a great passion for Brazilians. Not surprisingly, over time the country became one of the main exporters of works of this genre. But now, here comes a new “love story”: Turkish soap operas. If the Tupiniquin series continue to be favourites, a part of the public has also been won over by Turkish productions.

Proof of this is the great repercussion the works have on social networks (see below). The series made in the European country received a special edition in Brazil, to look like telenovelas, and they were charming. The success is so great that streaming platforms have opted for these plots. Globoplay, for example, has a dozen titles in its catalog.
Among those already available on Globoplay is “Fatmagül”, which will also go to the subscription channel Viva, starting on the 18th.
