Trump made 30 endorsements in recent primaries. Here’s who won.
Last week, Trump’s preferred candidate in Wyoming, Harriet Hageman, also left easily with an almost 40-point win against Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), who earned Trump’s ire for her impeachment vote and leadership on the Jan. 6 committee. Meanwhile, fellow Trump endorsee Sarah Palin is in limbo in Alaska as the state prepares to tabulate votes in its ranked-choice special House election on Aug. 31.
Florida wins

Moody is a former Democrat whose family once sued Trump over a condominium dispute. She has become a major voice in high-profile conservative cases in the state since she took office in 2019. She joined the motion brought by Texas attorney General Ken Paxton and others that sought to overturn 2020 election results in four states, which was later shot down by the Supreme Court.
She also served on Trump’s National Law Enforcement Commission as the sole attorney general. In his endorsement, Trump said Moody was “a crusader fighting opioid abuse and human trafficking ever since. Ashley Moody will never let you down.”

Rubio seemed to be in political trouble last year with elements of the GOP, but that evaporated when Trump endorsed him last April. He has stopped short of criticizing Trump in the years following their presidential bids against each other in 2016. Rubio declined to vote against 2020 election results, in contrast to fellow Florida GOP Sen. Rick Scott — but nevertheless, Trump called him “a tireless advocate for the people of Florida.”
Rubio will face Democratic Rep. Val Demings in November in a highly watched contest.

Matt Gaetz
Won with 70 percent of the vote. He voted to overturn 2020 election results.
One of Trump’s strongest supporters in the House, Gaetz helped stall the first impeachment trial against the former president by disrupting committee hearings. Gaetz has also been under investigation for alleged sex trafficking since last year. He previously asked Trump to give preemptive pardons, a common practice for the former president while he was in office, to himself and other congressional politicians. Trump denied having heard such a request.
Gaetz has worked to “fight the never-ending witch hunts from the radical left that are destroying our country,” Trump wrote in his endorsement.

The freshman congressman has made waves in the House, meeting with the ex-president in New Jersey soon after saying the Congressional Black Caucus excluded him for his conservative views last June. Donalds also hosted Trump and his wife Melania for a Christmas celebration last December.
“Congressman Byron Donalds has been a terrific advocate for the people of Florida and our Country,” Trump said in his endorsement.

The No. 3 House leader rose quickly, assuming Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney’s position after Cheney fell out of favor with the House GOP for her stance on Trump. Stefanik said she speaks with Trump multiple times a week, who has called her “one of my killers,” and recently headlined a New York rally with him. Trump also once suggested her as a potential 2028 presidential committee, a position she denied pursuing at the moment.

Trump selected Hageman to oppose Cheney after the incumbent voted to impeach him and joined the House committee to investigate the Jan. 6 attacks, becoming a top political target ahead of the midterms. Voters soured on Cheney quickly and gave Hageman a decisive win. After her victory, Trump said, “This is a wonderful result for America, and a complete rebuke of the Unselect Committee of political hacks and thugs… Now she can finally disappear into the depths of political oblivion where, I am sure, she will be much happier than she is right now.”
