Turkish actor Kerem Bürsin defends ex Hande Ercel on social media – Emirates Woman

With a huge legion of adoring fans, Hande Erçel has become one of the most popular actresses in Turkey. But having such a large following unfortunately also comes with its setbacks, mainly from online trolls.

However, the actress’ ex-boyfriend and fellow Turkish actor Kerem Bursin, has come to his ex-girlfriend’s defense, condemning online haters for attacking the actress.

I believe that anyone, supporter or not, writing hateful comments towards women, including Hande, is behavior that I do not and will never support. When I catch this kind of shit, I write a message asking them and telling them to stop. We don’t need hate in this world 🤷🏼‍♂️

Responding to a fan on Twitter in early July who asked about the “daily hate” directed at women, the former Sen Çal Kapimi star explained that hateful comments directed at women, including his ex-girlfriend, are behavior he would “never put up with”.

“I think that anyone, whether a supporter or not, writes hateful comments towards women, including Hande, is behavior that I do not and will never support,” he said. “When I catch this kind of shit, I write a message asking them and telling them to stop, please. We don’t need hate in this world.”

Erçel and Bürsin called it quits in early 2022.

The couple met on the set of Sen Çal Kapimi (You Knock On My Door) in 2020 and rumors of their off-screen relationship quickly became the talk of the town.

The couple confirmed their romance in April 2021 while on vacation in the Maldives. However, the couple quietly split earlier this year.

Although no official announcement was made regarding their split, Erçel removed all traces of her ex from her Instagram page and also unfollowed Bürsin on the social media platform.

However, it’s clear that even though their relationship doesn’t last, they don’t have a bad word to say about each other.
