The thrilling video is set against the backdrop of the Speed City event in the Nevada desert. The presentation titled “The Sky is the Limit. They Said.” not only showcases the exceptional capabilities of the sports car but also celebrates the brand’s spirit and emotion that resonates with enthusiasts worldwide.

A V8 Roar Through the Nevada Desert

The heart-stopping film captures the essence of the AMG GT Coupe as it roars through the Nevada desert. The 577-hp handcrafted AMG 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine propels the car, embodying the brand’s continuous commitment to pushing boundaries in performance.

The film, available on the Mercedes-Benz YouTube channel, features special guest cameos, including F1 drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, adding a touch of star power to the exhilarating showcase.

AMG x IWC Collaboration Takes Center Stage

Speed City, a purpose-built venue in collaboration with luxury watchmaker IWC Schaffhausen, became the epicenter of the campaign’s grand finale. The spectacular 1,000 drone show, set against the Nevada night sky, featured a precision-choreographed performance by F1 drivers Hamilton and Russell.

This stunning display not only celebrated the AMG-IWC partnership but also marked the 20th anniversary of their enduring collaboration.

As part of the collaboration, IWC introduced the Pilot’s Watch Performance Chronograph 41 AMG in titanium, dedicated to the performance luxury brand. The timepiece, crafted with a grade 5 titanium alloy, offers remarkable rigidity and is approximately 45 percent lighter than a steel equivalent.

With a ceramic bezel featuring a tachymeter scale, the high-performance chronograph adds a dimension of speed, aligning seamlessly with the AMG ethos.

Roar to Vegas: A Social Media Triumph

Leading up to the grand finale, the “Roar to Vegas” road trip, featuring a convoy of AMG’s elite portfolio, garnered significant attention on social media channels. The convoy, including the Mercedes-AMG GT 53 4-Door Coupe, C 63 S E PERFORMANCE, and SL 63, embarked on a journey to Las Vegas, setting the stage for an unforgettable campaign climax.
